It provides 50 courses with 11 degree programmes, across an enormous range of different disciplines, including those most traditional undergraduate programmes like BA, B. Sc, along with some purely professional courses like LLB and B. Ed. At the postgraduate level, the college offers MA and M.Sc programmes in subjects ranging from Sociology and Sanskrit to Mathematics and Physics. The college also offers Ph.D. programmes in various disciplines.
The admission to the Nanak Chand Anglo Sanskrit College is entirely based on merit prepared with the marks scored in the qualifying examination.
