72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemical Sciences is an offered Full-time three/six-year Doctoral program and it is offered by the Homi Bhabha National Institute, Mumbai. The Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including coursework, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned offered by Homi Bhabha National Institute, Mumbai.
Eligibility Criteria
The Candidate 55% or equivalent GPA in Master’s in Chemistry or allied Chemistry fields. Students with Master’s degree in any branches of Basic Sciences with undergraduate degree in Chemistry (or Chemistry as one of the subjects) or M.Tech in applied Chemistry or Computer Sciences with interest in pursuing a career in Chemistry are also encouraged to apply. Candidates with a 4-year / 8-semester Bachelor’s degree program with chemistry as major subject with a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade are also eligible to apply for the program.
