The Neelkanth Group of Institutions was established in 2007 by the Sri Siva Venkateswara Educational and Social Welfare Trust to produce engineers, managers and entrepreneurs who can meet the growing needs of the expanding Indian economy. Neelkanth Institute of Technology (NIT) is Approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) - New Delhi and affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (Formerly Uttar Pradesh Technical University), Lucknow, UP.
NIT Meerut courses include a four-year full-time B.Tech program in CSE, IT, ECE, EEE, Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering and an M.Tech in CSE and ECE programme. The NIT Meerut application fees for UG/ PG admission are Rs 1000 (GN/OBC) and Rs 500 (SC/ST) and collect the online registration slip. NIT Meerut facilities include a Classroom, Seminar and conference, advanced labs, Library, Lawns & Park, Cafeteria, Hostel, PDP Cell, Techno Club, CNC Lab, Advanced Technology Lab (AI/ML/AR/InfoSec), Sports Facilities, NIT Sports Academy, Startup Incubator, Skill Accelerator, Virtual Tour, etc.
