Panchmura Mahavidyalaya, established in 1965, affiliated with Burdwan University, this college sprawls over 39 acres of land and has been accredited by NAAC. This college, with a student enrolment of 2,237 against a faculty strength of 66, offers 18 different courses in as many as 6 different degree programs. 

The facilities provided in the college are really inspiring, help in adding to the learning experience of the students. Right at the centre of those campuses is a well-stocked central library that contains about 22,000 text and reference books on various subjects. The Library has further access to approximately daily Newspapers, Magazines, Journals, Question Banks, etc., in order to give richness to the environment for Academic Research and Study. On the Technology front, there are three computer centres fitted with Internet Connected Machines and respective Software by Panchmura Mahavidyalaya. The holistic development of the students is also a focal point in the sports facilities and gymnasium, which motivate the students toward physical fitness in addition to academics.
