Pannalal Girdharlal Dayanand Anglo-Vedic College Evening Delhi was established in 1958 by Pannalal Girdharlal in collaboration with the DAV Management & Trust to provide higher education to working students. Central Sector Scheme Of Scholarship for College and University Students
Particular | Requirement |
Eligibility for Scholarship | Students who are above the 80th percentile in the relevant stream from the respective Board of Examination in Class XII of the 10+2 pattern or equivalent. Candidates pursuing regular degree courses and not correspondence or distance mode or pursuing Diploma courses. Candidates pursuing courses at colleges/institutions recognized by All India Council for Technical Education and respective Regulatory Bodies concerned. Students who qualify for the programme must have a gross parental or family income of up to Rs. 4.5 lakh annually. Only new applicants will be required to provide an income certificate. Along with receiving at least 50% in the annual examination, maintaining satisfactory attendance of at least 75% will also be a requirement for renewal of the scholarship each year of study. |
Reservation | 15% seats -SCs 7.5% seats- STs 27 % seats-OBCs 5% seats -horizontal reservation for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) in all the categories. |
Rate and Duration of Scholarship (from financial year 2022-23) | Graduation level - The rate of scholarship is Rs.12,000 per annum for the first three years of College and University courses. My experience is overall good, good faculty, low crowd.
College Infrastructure
My college has an average infrastructure. This year renovation has taken place, new wall painting which gives asthetic look and build new cabins classroom for 4th year students. The college still lacks proper indoor sports facilities and strong wifi network. Canteen food are limited as compared to morning shift , and library is too small only 50 seating chairs are available whic is insufficient .
