PNCKR College of Nursing, Narasaraopet, was started in the year 2005. The college management is under the Ponnuru Narayana Chetty Koteswara Rao Charitable Trust, Narasaraopet. This institution is approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). Sprawled over a small 2-acre campus, PNCKR College of Nursing has a total student enrolment of 187 students, with a faculty strength of 21. There are, at present, two courses which the college runs, B.Sc Nursing and General Nursing and Midwifery, for those with an intention of taking healthcare as a profession. 

PNCKR College of Nursing aims to provide a proper learning environment to its students. It has a well-furnished library with the latest editions of books, periodicals, and newspapers of academic interest. The institution is also inclined to technologically advanced education and, therefore, offers free MS Office and internet usage training from the first year itself. A computer lab is also there with 24-hour service for the students. It maintains first-aid facilities together with a health centre, which takes care of the well-being of its students. 

PNCKR College of Nursing runs two major courses: B.Sc Nursing and GNM, both full-time four-year courses. The sanctioned intake of B.Sc Nursing course is 50 seats, while GNM has 45 seats. Through these programmes, students gain thorough theoretical and practical competency in the delivery of nursing care with which to be prepared for a more significant role in health care.
