Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for admission into the first year of Bachelor of Technology Degree programs shall be as mentioned below:

The Candidate shall be an Indian National.
The Candidate should have passed the qualifying examination Intermediate or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects or any equivalent examination recognized by JNTUK, Kakinada on the date of admission.
Seats in each program in the College are classified into Category-A (70% of intake), and Category-B (30% of intake) besides Lateral Entry.

Lateral Entry Seats:

Additional seats of 20% of the sanctioned intake in each branch shall be filled up in the third semester directly based on the rank secured by the candidates in Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET- FDH) in accordance with the instructions received from the Convener, ECET and Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Admission Details

Category- A Seats:

These seats will be filled by the Convener, EAMCET admissions.

Category- B Seats:

These seats will be filled by the College as per the guidelines of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education.

College Infrastructure

It has moderate infrastruture and facilities.The machinery equipment is satisfactory.The library contrains enourmous books from various fields,the digital library is also alotted to enhance the knowledge.

This college gives us a lot of knowledge and skills.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is soo good,we have all the necessary equipments in the labs.The corridors and college premises are cleaned regularly and are hygenic and green.The library is also good,all the necessary books are available in the library
