PRIST School of Engineering and Technology was set up in the year 2017 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India for providing constituent college education at Manamai, ECR, Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu. The fact that it is a rather young institution, it is already able to carve its niche in the sphere of engineering education. Recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), PRIST has developed various B.Tech specialist programmes to cope with the current market trends. There are six full-time B.Tech programmes at PRIST School of Engineering and Technology and all the programmes last for four years. These programmes include Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering ,Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and the newly added Artificial intelligence and data science. The college conducts these five courses where every course has an intake capacity of 60 students except the Artificial Intelligence and Data Science where the intake capacity is yet to be released. The flexibility in these programme’s enable the students to select a programme of study that is related to their preferred discipline.
