PSG College of Arts and Science was founded in 1947 by PSG & Son Charities Trust. PSG College of Arts and Science is also popularly known as PSGCAS Coimbatore is also recognised as ‘A’ Grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), also recognised as “College with Potential for Excellence” by the University Grant Commission. PSGCAS Coimbatore is an autonomous college affiliated with Bharathiar University.
PSGCAS has a vision for the students to offer academic programmes and focus on the character and skill building of the students. Some of the popular courses offered by PSG CAS Coimbatore are BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BBA, BCA, MA, M.Com, M.Sc, MCA, MSW and several others. Admissions to all UG and PG programmes are based on the marks obtained in qualifying examinations except for MSW and MA Journalism and Mass Communication courses for which PSG CAS conducts its own entrance examinations.

PSGCAS Coimbatore MSW and MJMC Admission Process 2025 (Entrance-Based)
Application and registration of application are available only in online mode. Students are required to fill up the admission form with all the necessary details and choice of course students are willing to study with all necessary documents.
Students have to appear for an entrance examination for courses MSW and MA (Journalism and Mass Communication) which will be conducted by the PSG College of Arts and Science.
The entrance test will be conducted through online/offline mode.
A provisional list of selected/waitlisted students will be displayed on the notice board in the respective departments within 15 days after the date of the entrance examination.
It is mandatory for the students to take part in the counselling process of PSGCAS admission.
