The Punjab Government Dental College & Hospital Amritsar (GDC Amritsar) was set up in 1952 as an eminent dental college. This college for boys and girls is in Amritsar, Punjab and is affiliated with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot and recognised by Dental Council of India (DCI). The GDC Amritsar currently provides 6 courses into 2 degrees. BDS and MDS degrees. Thus the college edifies different fields of dentistry through specialised education with total student enrolment and faculty strength of 226 and 9 respectively. It offers many dental programs as well as sophisticated infrastructures to many individuals who want to be dentists in the institution.
