Rao Birender Singh State Institute of Engineering and Technology, Rewari: Admission 2026, Cutoff, Courses, Fees, Placements, Ranking

Located in Rewari, Haryana, the Rao Birender Singh State Institute of Engineering and Technology was established in 2017. This affiliated college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education and runs various programs in the field of Engineering. Spread over 52 acres of land, RBSSIET has an enrolment of 217 students at the undergraduate level in six B.Tech programs. The institute focuses on delivering quality technical education in various streams of Engineering: Civil, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics and Communication, and Mechanical Engineering.

RBSSIET has very well-developed infrastructure for its academic pursuits. The library in the college acts as a knowledge center, while department-based laboratories further enhance practical work. A strong IT infrastructure definitely does exist, which helps students in being updated with changing technologies. Ex-curricular resources provided by RBSS SIET include sports facilities and an auditorium for events and seminars. There is a Wi-Fi campus that is available to access online resources without hassles. Separate accommodation facilities are available for both male and female students, comfortable for living. 

The institute currently offers six full-time B.Tech programs, each with a duration of four years. These programs represent some of the key engineering disciplines that provide a sound footing to students in their chosen fields. 

Admission to RBSSIET is majorly done based on the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE MAIN conducted by NTA. The institute selects prospective students based on this national-level examination and hence ensures that the admission process is completely based on merit and is transparent. Accordingly, all B.Tech programs of the institute, are based on JEE Main scores.
