Churachandpur’s Rayburn College was formed in 1994 and is one among the well-known institutes situated in New Lamka, Manipur. One of the affiliated colleges presents several under graduate and post graduate courses across various fields and is NAAC accredited. Located on a 5.5 acre land, Rayburn College, a co-educational institution now has a total student population of 717 and a complement of 55 teaching professionals. The college offers 21 courses in 8 degrees programmes in arts, commerce, and science streams, to fulfill educational needs of students in the region.

These are the BA in History, Political Science, Geography, English, Sociology, and Psychology, at the undergraduate level; B.Com in Management, Banking and Finance, and Accounting honors. The science stream available in the university provide the B.Sc programmes in Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, and Zoology. For the postgraduate seekers, the college is providing M.Com and MA in History and Political Science. These diverse set of courses provide all the students with adequate chances to achieve their academic and professional aspirations.
