About RIE Ajmer
Regional Institute of Education Ajmer, or RIE Ajmer, is a constituent college of NCERT, New Delhi. RIE Ajmer was established by the Ministry of Education, Govt of India in 1961, to prepare quality teachers in Science, Humanities, Commerce, Agriculture and Technology. RIE Ajmer was previously known as the Regional College of Ajmer; it was renamed in 1995.

The candidate should have passed the 10 + 2 standard from a recognised board in the PCM/PCB/Arts/Commerce (whichever is applicable) stream.
For B.Ed. program the candidate should have completed graduation in the relevant stream from a recognised university with an aggregate of a minimum of 50% marks.

College Infrastructure
The infrastructure of college is old but it has quite nice facilities and good hygiene. Everything is well maintained. There are many laboratories for the required departments which are fully equipped.
