RVS Dental College & Hospital was set up in 2008, at Kannampalayam, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu and is one of the leading institution to impart dental education. This affiliated college is recognised by the Dental Council of India (DCI) and the college offers dental courses at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The intended student enrolment for RVS Dental College is four hundred while faculties strength is one hundred and thirty it conducive for dental education. The college has a multicultural population, out of the total enroled population, 97% is in undergraduate studies and 3% in postgraduate studies.

RVS Dental College and Hospital provides 7 courses in total across two degree fields. The Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programme is the basic professional degree course, and different specialisations of the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) are offered at the master’s level - Oral Surgery etc.

The admission procedure in RVS Dental College and Hospital is very effective and follows the following admission procedure. For the BDS programme, candidates must pass the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and get the admission in the merit list. Likewise for MDS programme, admissions are done through National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for MDS abbreviated as NEET MDS conducted by National Board of Examination or any other body constructions by the Central Govt.
