In SIMT, we have a fully computerized air-conditioned library that is the complete storehouse of knowledge. All the books cover a wide range of topics for all the age groups adding to their knowledge. It has a subscription of 40 journals and magazines along with daily newspapers in English as well as the regional language for extensive reading. The library has over 1000 books (at present) related to various fields. Extension to these is a reference and general books authored by known Indian and foreign authors. A large number of books on varied topics are further being added to the library. Interiors of Library have been aesthetically designed for creating an atmosphere to accommodate more than 100 students at a time, a separate air-conditioned reading room for teachers & students, adequate lighting & comfortable seating arrangements provided an ideal reading atmosphere, where one can concentrate on reading for hours without any distraction.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The institute has two states of the artfully air-conditioned computer lab, which is fully equipped with the latest hardware and software. These labs have the latest Pentium printers, modems, and multimedia. All the systems are attached to the network on windows 2K and Unix. The lab has all branded machines from HCL.

College bus facility is available for the students coming from all over Jalandhar. Further college transport can also be made available from other places if an adequate number of students opt for the same.

The college has a departmental based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has a guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
