Saraswati College of Education, Charkhi Dadri, was started in the year 2007 as an affiliated college in Bhiwani district of Haryana. This is a co-educational institution was recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education, and presently, it enrolled 268 students with a strength of 12 faculty members.

Saraswati College of Education has a line of supporting facilities, which help make the process of learning easier and more effective within the institution. These include a well-stocked library equipped with over 3,050 books in all fields related to education, together with a reference section and a book bank. The institution also provides a gym and several sports facilities for playing games like cricket, football, badminton, and softball for the fitness and sports-oriented student. Fully equipped science labs for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology help to back up these labs with practical experience. IT infrastructure and canteen add comfort and ease to life on campus.

Saraswati College of Education offers two regular courses, one being B.Ed. two-year with 100 seats and another being D.Ed. two-year with 50 seats. The sanctioned intake for the said course is 150 students annually. Courses are so designed as to provide theoretical knowledge and practical experience to the students, which will make them successful in this profession.

The admission process for Saraswati College of Education is different for each course. In the case of the B.Ed. course, admission is principally based on the entrance test conducted by the concerned university. The college also reserves 15% management quota of the seats, which are filled according to the university policy on the basis of marks obtained in the Bachelor's or Master's degree of the candidate. Reservations for SC/ST/OBC, differently-abled, and women are provided as per the state government and university rules. However, admission to the D.Ed program is based on merit.
