The M.Des. Industrial and Product Design program at UPES School of Design offers a comprehensive, practice-led education in contemporary product design. The curriculum spans the full product lifecycle, including user research, product development, manufacturing processes, materials, and sustainability, enabling graduates to create solutions that are visually compelling, functional, feasible, and responsible.
A key strength of the program is its strong real-world orientation. Students engage in collaborative projects with industrial companies, social organisations, government bodies, and multinational corporations, enhancing their problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills alongside advanced studio practice.
Eligibility Criteria
The minimum eligibility criteria for M.Des Industrial and Product Design to be fulfilled by interested students is as follows:
- Minimum 50% marks at Higher and Senior Secondary Level (X & XII).
- Minimum 50% marks in bachelor’s degree in any stream: 10+2+3 years (B.Des./B.Arch./ B.Tech./ BFA graduates will be preferred).
- Valid CEED/NID/NIFT score.
