School of Design, UPES Dehradun Admission Process
School of Design, UPES Dehradun offers admission at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. School of Design admissions are offered to B.Des, M.Des and PhD programmes. School of Design courses are offered in several specialisations.
In order to take admission to B.Des and M.Des programmes at School of Design Dehradun, students must satisfy the required eligibility criteria as per the choice of the specialisations. The admission is merit and entrance based. For B.Des programme candidates must score valid marks in NID/NIFT/UCEED/JEE Main/ UPESDAT / CUET exams. As per the School of Design admission process, candidates also need to appear for a portfolio presentation and a personal interview for B.Des and M.Des course admission.
School of Design Dehradun admission to M.Des courses is given based on the candidate's performance CEED/UPES DAT followed by portfolio presentation and a personal interview. Candidates with a valid score in CEED are exempted from UPES DAT.

Academics
I am a design student.Teachers are highly experienced and supporting.They also update their academic curriculum regularly and include recent developments.I think this going to make us job ready by the end of four years.
College Infra
College infrastructure is good but the facilities provided to hostellers are quite less and hostel rooms are little dinky.Laboratories are well equipped, library too holds good amount of books,novels, magazines.
Campus Life
College is placed at very well scenic location.Most of the students are encouraged to take part in extra curricular activities it may be whatever of their interest be it sports,poetry,dance,drama etc
Placements
As I have been new to this place I don't have much knowledge regarding placements and packages.But what I have heard as far now that maximum students are placed with average packages.Moveover faculty being supportive helps you in getting placed.
Value For Money
It's around one Lac seventy thousand per semester.It's bit expensive.
