One of the premier autonomous institutions in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, Seven Hills College of Pharmacy was established in the year 2007. It is a co-educational institute located on a 2.68-acre campus and offering all types of courses, i.e., undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral, in pharmaceutical programmes. SHCP is accredited by NAAC and approved by PCI, assuring high-quality education. An excellent rapport of student-teacher ratio is maintained with a composite strength of 680 students and a strength of 50 in faculty. SHCP offers 7 courses across 4 degree programmes targeting various specialisations in pharmaceutical sciences.

Campus facilities that make up the ambience of the institution to facilitate the total development of the students include well-appointed laboratories, an extensive library, and advanced IT infrastructure. It also has gyms and sports facilities for the health- and fitness-conscious. Adding to these is the campus with a canteen, auditorium, and Wi-Fi connectivity. A health centre with first-aid services is in place for medical facilities. SHCP provides separate hostel accommodations for both boys and girls to assure easy living for those coming from different regions for the diverse programmes offered by this college.

SHCP provides a multidisciplinary matrix of pharmaceutical courses to meet the current industry requirements. In fact, the college offers 7 full-time programmes at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. The intake is of 100 seats each for the flagship B.Pharma programme, while M.Pharma specialisations are offered in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Analysis, and Pharmaceutics with 15 seats each. In addition, there are courses like Pharm.D with an intake of 30 and, on the same note, Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate with 10 students in the intake of the course. The overall sanctioned intake for all the courses is 185 students per year, therefore making the environment at the institution more lively.

The admission process at SHCP strives for a selection of the meritoriously promising aspirants in the various programmes. For undergraduate courses such as B.Pharma, admission to the said course is mostly done on the basis of the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET). Admission to postgraduate courses at the level of M.Pharma is based on the entrance tests, Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) and Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET). The college also entertains registrations under the management quota and for foreign nationals.
