This is for those who have passion on sports and games; Facilities for indoor games are seen within the academic block while playground is available for other activities like volleyball, basketball, football, cricket etc. It is also the college plans to establish a gymnasium now. Besides, SEMC provides transport facilities whereby the authority plans to provide a Reserved Passenger Bus Service from Guwahati (Panbazar) – Jorabat for the students and staffs.

Shillong Engineering and Management College presents a full range of academic programmes within the spectrum of engineering and management. The college teaches 28 programmes at eight programme levels which comprises of B.Tech, M.Tech, BBA, BCA, MBA, MCA programmes. The B.Tech programmes offered are Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Automobile Engineering. For those interested in postgraduate studies SEMC offers M.Tech programmes in related fields. The college also offers diploma courses in various engineering disciplines to those students who are in quest of technical education for a relatively shorter period of time.
