Shri Bankatswami Mahavidyalaya, Beed: Admission 2026, Cutoff, Courses, Fees, Placements, Ranking

Established in the year 1971, Shri Bankatswami Mahavidyalaya, Beed, is a college affiliated with University of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada, located in Beed, Maharashtra. Built on a compact 2.1-acre campus, this college has been a constant source of education for the region for over five decades. The college has a present enrollment of 1,551 students in various streams supported by 25 faculty members. Now, this Shri Bankatswami Mahavidyalaya offers three undergraduate degree courses; hence, evidently fulfilling the diversified academic interests of students belonging to the streams of arts, commerce, and science. 

The college has many facilities that provide good student experience and promote better academic activities. There is a separate library building in which an enriched reading room is situated with a book bank scheme for economically backward students. Then, those who are health conscious will find a multistage gymnasium and many sporting facilities for games like kabaddi, kho-kho, cricket, volleyball amongst others. The college has an accommodation facility to a capacity of 28 boys, mostly to the underprivileged sectional students, in the boys' hostel. Besides, it has a reading hall and playground ground facilities for its boarders. 

Shri Bankatswami Mahavidyalaya runs three full-time Undergraduate Programs: Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce, and Bachelor of Science. Each of these programs has a duration of 3 years. The BA is the biggest of these in capacity, with 840 seats, while B.Com and B.Sc programs are the same, with the intake 360 each. These diverse courses equally give opportunity for academic interest to be kindled among the students in different disciplines. This is simply the sum total of the approved intake of all the programmes offered by the institution, which has a bearing on the number of students that the institution can substantiate.

Admission to Shri Bankatswami Mahavidyalaya is organized under an open and simple model.  Significantly, the college has an Alumni Association, which was formed recently, but within a very short period of its existence, became the first to serve in terms of providing services such as free medical check-ups by the college community for teachers and students.
