Shri Sai Institute of Pharmacy and Research, Aurangabad came into the map of India’s pharmaceutical education only few years ago. This affiliated college has been started in 2019 and this college is located in the industrial area of Chikalthana MIDC, Aurangabad, Maharashtra. PCI approved institute is dedicated to deliver quality education in pharmaceutical sciences. The institute occupies a total area of 0.75 acres and has the current student strength of 138 and 13 members of faculty. 

Shri Sai Institute of Pharmacy consists of two Pharmacy programmes for potential pharmacists at two different stages of their education. As a relatively young institute, however, the necessary premises to accommodate the types of programme has already been developed. There basics that are needed to offer a quality education in pharmacy are in place thanks to the Pharmacy Council of India approval.

This institute of pharmacy is offering two courses in the pharmacy line as at now. Kring has total intake capacity of 160 students for both the programmes in total. The Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) is an undergraduate programme that has an approved annual enrolment capacity of one hundred students. However, for those who want to do a shorter programme, the institute also offers a Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) programme which takes two academic years with an annual student enrolment of 60. Such programmes are aimed at giving students a background knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences which will enable him or her to fit in any field in healthcare or pharmaceutical sector. 

Shri Sai Institute of Pharmacy and Research has laid down simple criteria for admission to the institute. Most pharmacy institutes base their admissions on scores from entrance exams conducted either on state or national level that are related to pharmacy.
