Shriram Institute of Engineering and Technology Polytechnic was founded in the year 2008. Situated in Taluka Malshiras, Solapur district, Maharashtra, it is one of the prominent institutions in the region. This is a co-educational institute spreading through 16.4 acres of area and is an affiliated college approved by All India Council for Technical Education. With a total student enrolment of 471 and a faculty strength of 57, SIETP offers a diverse range of engineering programs at the diploma and degree levels. At present, the institute is offering 8 courses across 2 degree types, aiding to various specializations in the field of Engineering. 

The institute has a variety of facilities for improving the learning experience as well as the overall development of students. The campus has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls, built with comfortable accommodations. SIETP provides a range of Engineering courses that touch the many interests of the students and are current with the industry. The institute runs full-time diploma and B.Tech programmes in the next streams. The full-time diploma courses are three years long and concern Computer Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. B.Tech programs are four-year ones and include Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Engineering. All this wide range provides an opportunity for the students to choose a specialization of interest that seems fittest, given their career ambitions and interests in the changing field of engineering.
