SMBT Ayurved College and Hospital in Nashik, Maharashtra, is one of the significant institutions established in 2007. Co-educational college affiliated with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, the programmes impart quality education in Ayurvedic medicine. The campus is spread over 6.2 acres, with a student enrolment of 251 and a faculty strength of 60.
The college provides support through facilities that form support mechanisms for student learning and general well-being. The campus has separate hostels for boys and girls with the basic facilities such as food and entertainment. SMBT Ayurved College and Hospital runs a total of 9 full-time courses. The flagship course is the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery, with an intake of 60 students. At the PG level, there are MDs and MSs (Ayurveda) in different specialisations. The institution has a total approved intake of 108 students at all levels, which substantiates its commitment towards maintaining quality through controlled class strength.

Most of the admission to SMBT Ayurved College and. Admissions to the BAMS course shall be granted based on the results of the NEET-UG as per the directive issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Candidates are admitted to the undergrad course based on the All-India rank and percentile marks obtained in NEET-UG. The admission procedure for postgraduate courses should be through NEET-PG and AIAPGET.
