The SMS College of Nursing, Jhalawar was set up in 2009, is one of the leading nursing college of Rajasthan in India. Established at Munderi, Khanpur Road, Jhalawar, this institute is a co-educational college affiliated to any university and recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). The college occupies a total area of 2.112 acres of land hence providing a befitting home for the students preparing for a carrier in the health care sector. It has a total student enrolment of 115 student and a faculty of 15 members making the ambiance of college more structured and intimate to provide quality education.

SMS College of Nursing currently offers one full-time course: these are the Bachelor of Science in Nursing commonly referred to as the B.Sc Nursing. This is a four-year programme which has an authorised admission level of 30 students in each academic year. The B.Sc Nursing course is a four years programme in which theoretical knowledge as well as essential practical aspects related to the profession of nursing is taught. This has the associated benefit that being a college focused on a specific, specialised programme ; efforts can be directed to delivering high-quality nursing education.

SMS College of Nursing Admission policy is equally designed to be fair and capable of inviting only the best candidates to join the college. The admissions to government quota seats are based on Common Entrance Test / Counseling conductedby Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS), Jaipur.
