Smt. Shobhatai Kore Warana Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Yelur, is an infant institution in the field of educational Field and was established in the year 2018. Yelur Tal-Shahuwadi Dist Kolhapur Maharashtra is the place of this affiliated college which is only for women. The institute today provides three under graduate programmes and has student population of 317. At present, it has a strength of 22 members in the faculty which can facilitate a proper teacher-student ratio which means individual attention to learner. As evident from the college map, the institution has confirmed its determination to offer quality education by offering different courses in art, commerce and science faculties.

Smt. Shobhatai Kore Warana Mahila Mahavidyalaya has a set of amenities meant to improve the learning process of, or the environment in which the students learn. The library being a principal student resource centre possesses nearly one thousand books that help students in their study process. The college offers a minimum of a gym and an exercising room for exercising and the college has playgrounds for games such as Kabaddi and Kho-Kho. Concerning IT, the institution also aims at developing its technologies and providing students with the relevant ICT tools they need for their future careers. More to it, the college offer girls’ hostel facility with adequate accommodation for girls who come from distant areas. Furthermore, the college also has functional laboratories for practical exercises across different fields. 

Smt. Shobhatai Kore Warana Mahila Mahavidyalaya offers three undergraduate programmes: Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc). All these programmes takes the duration of three years.
