Snehodaya College of Nursing is a self-financing BSM run college situated at Thrissur of Kerala state which was started in the year 2012. This affiliated college is in Vallakkunnu, Kallettumkara P.O, Irinjalakuda and the college is approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) for maintaining standard education. Affiliated to Bangalore University and spread over 4 acres, the college provides a learning ambience. Being a newly started institution, Snehodaya College of Nursing has been able to intake 200 students in total and has a faculty of fifteen. The institution is specifically for the female students enhancing the environment for women in health care.

Snehodaya College of Nursing has our state of the art facilities that enable improvement in the learning process of the learners. The library of the college is made in 3350 sq. ft. area and contains a variety of nursing books and magazines, having a seating capacity of 96 students. It remains open from 8:residents operate round the clock with flexible hours from 30 a.m. to 6 p.m. giving plenty of time for research. The college also provides good practical facilities basic clinical practice laboratory for the students before undergoing clinical practice. Teaching aids such as overhead projectors, computers, and TVs are some of the teaching equipment that is installed in learning classrooms across the country. In view of the well being of the students, there is a health facility married with first-aid department. Parents are free to take their children to college or leave them at home since the college promotes group activities such as sports and fellow-artist events aimed at producing culturally required talents.

Snehodaya College of Nursing currently offers one full-time course: B.Sc. Nursing. This academic programme has a quota of 50 students per year, and has been approved for a four year curriculum. The course is supposed to ensure the students acquire all the proper theoretical and practical knowledge important for the nursing profession. The B.Sc. Nursing fees for a complete course is Rs 322,000 which still puts the programme among the rivals for the student nurses.

The admission policy that is used at the Snehodaya College of Nursing is systematic and equitable. Candidates who have done their qualifying examination from other university other than the universities in Kerala have to produce the certificate of recognition and equivalency from any university in Kerala at the time of interview for admission.
