Sri Shiva Degree College, Azamgarh, was set up in 1965 and is situated in Terahi, Kaptanganj, Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh. This affiliated, co-educational college was established more than five decades ago to provide education in a number of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. With student enrolment of 1,540 and faculty strength of ten, the college offers opportunities to students and other interested persons to advance in their education. It has a total of five programmes being offered in two degree types, arts and humanities. 

It is affiliated with Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University (VBSPU), Jaunpur. Sri Shiva Degree College also has numerous amenities aimed at improving the efficiency of learning among the college learners. The library is a distinctive storage place of books important for students, and it unites different types of books, including new and old editions. It also has a reference section for the readers' hall containing Hindi/English newspapers, magazines, and journals of different dailies.
