Master of Education (M.Ed) is a two-year full-time postgraduate course approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by Davangere University, Davangere.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate who has passed the B.Ed examination of this University or any other university recognized as equivalent is eligible for admission to the course, and who has obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate. Among SC/ST students this percentage should be at least 45%. However, candidates appointed by the Government of Karnataka for the course are exempted from the above (IAA) eligibility conditions.
Provisional admission of candidates will be decided based on the admission test marks (50%) and qualifying test marks (50%) followed by a reservation system and guidelines issued by the University from time to time. However, candidates recruited by the Government of Karnataka for the course are exempted from the entrance test.

Admission Details

Admission Shall be Made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the state government/Government/University/UT Administration policy.
