SRKP Government PG College of Kishangarh is one of the pioneer institutions in the range of Ajmer city in Rajasthan, founded in 1959. This is a coed college affiliated with the state university system; it provides a good number of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various fields. Located on a campus of 144 acres, it has a total strength of 4765 students and 40 faculty members to teach these students. The SRKP Government PG College is special for its focus on delivering quality education; it offers 13 courses under six degree programmes that span Arts, Commerce, and Science.

One of the things that the college boasts of is the adequate infrastructure that complements students learning activities. A large collection of books and documents is one of the special features of our school; it has a collection of approximately 66,000 books, magazines, periodicals, and encyclopaedias of high standards for academic point of view. Internet enabled, and in the process of being automated, it has two reading halls, a reference room, and a facility for computers. As part of students’ overall development, the college has outstanding sports amenities for indoor and outdoor games to assure students of healthy mind, body, and soul. The institution also has a modern computer centre to help students acquire first-hand computer literacy among students who join the institution.

The programmes available in the SRKP Government PG College thus cover an extensive variety so as to accommodate students with different interests and goals. Currently, the college offers 13 courses, of which three are undergraduate and the remaining 10 are postgraduate programs and all are full-time. In the undergraduate level, the programmes being offered are BA, B.Sc. Mathematics, B.Sc. Biogroup, and B.Com. The postgraduate courses include an MA in History, Sanskrit, Hindi, Drawing and Painting, and Geography; an M.Com. specialised in Business Administration, Economic Administration, Financial Management, and Accounts Business Statistics. Moreover, the college has an M.Sc. in Chemistry, and this is another addition to the college's scientific programmes.
