The SRS College of Engineering and Technology (SRSCET), started in 2009, is one of the leading institutions in Salem, Tamil Nadu. This is a co-educational institute offering engineering education, located in a vast area of 10 acres of land. SRSCET currently has three full-time Bachelor of Engineering (BE) programmes, which IT College admits students from different schools. Currently, the college has 33 students with 27 devoted and experienced teaching staff, which enables the college to have a good student-teacher ratio to ensure every student gets the necessary personal attention and directions given to him/her.

SRS College of Engineering and Technology is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. Besides the classroom facilities, the college has great endowed facilities that supplement students' learning. Students are provided the best laboratory equipment so that they can enhance their practical knowledge for different engineering specialisations. The library of this institute is an information centre containing books, journals, and other sources of information. For those who are back on campus, separate hostel facilities for boys and girls are available in SRS College of Engineering and Technology. The institute currently provides three full-time BE programmes: Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
