St. Aloysius College is one of the most prominent colleges located in Thrissur, Kerala. Being co-educational, this college was established in 1968 in a 41 acres campus. It has the accreditation of NAAC which proves the college’s aim to promote quality education. In total, 1,950 students are enrolled in 25 different courses. There are 62 dedicated faculty who ensure a personalised learning experience. 

The college ensures a favourable environment for the overall development of the students. Of the many facilities available at St. Aloysius College, the library occupies the central position as a knowledge hub. Practical learning is aided by the departmental laboratories including Computer Lab. With a capacity of 750 seater, the auditorium functions as a space to conduct academic and cultural activities. The college has also provided hostel facilities for girls, ensuring their comfortable stay. Other amenities include a canteen, fitness centre and transportation facilities for easy travel.

The academic portfolio of the college is diverse with a total of 25 courses ranging from UG to PG programmes. The courses are offered in Arts, Sciences, Commerce, and Management streams. There are 17 courses at the undergraduate level including BA Economics, B.Voc Gemmology, BBA Finance, B.Com Banking and Insurance, and various specialisations in B.Sc. For students who wish to pursue postgraduate courses, M.Sc, MA, and M.Com  courses are available. 

Admission to St. Aloysius College, in undergraduate and postgraduate courses, are based on merit. The candidates are shortlisted for admission on the basis of their scores in the qualifying exam. The college also has reserved seats in Management quota which is 20% for aided courses and 50% for self-financing courses.
