Suraj College of Engineering and Technology, Mahendragarh, was established as a constituent institute in the year 2008 in Haryana, India. The AICTE-approved institution renders quality education in the fields of Engineering and Technology. The campus of this college spread over 15 acres of land that has been expanded widely to help individuals have a conducive environment for learning and development.

The College does boast of many facilities that were put in place and furnished to enhance the experience of students on campus. The campus is well-endowed with laboratories in Physics, Chemistry, and Electronics Departments, which give hands-on experience in the chosen fields to the students. There exists a spacious library that stocks numerous volumes of academic and reference books. It is, in fact, a knowledge centre for the college. Facilities for sports and games like athletics, basketball, cricket, and football are available. Gym facilities help work out in the fitness activities available on campus. The separate hostel facilities are available for boys and girls in the college, with all the modern comfort of desert coolers, geysers, and internet connectivity to keep the students comfortable. This is an Affiliated College of Indira Gandhi University, Meerpur.

Suraj College of Engineering and Technology comprehends a wide spectrum of courses offered to cater to diverse interests in academics. Undergraduate and postgraduate courses particularly engineering disciplines have been the prime focus of this institution. The major courses presently offered by the college are thirteen in number: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, B.Sc in Chemistry, and M.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering. All of these programmes have been designed as full-time on-campus courses. Proper education with required practice will be given to the students in their respective fields.

The admissions in Suraj College of Engineering and Technology are highly transparent and fair. It very clearly accepts exam scores at the national level in the form of Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Main, for its engineering programmes. It accepts the scores of CAT, MAT, XAT, and CMAT exams for its management aspirants.
