Techno College of Engineering, Agartala (TCEA) is one of the growing technical institution at the northeastern part of India which is established in the year 2014. The affiliated college is in Maheshkhola, Anandanagar, Tripura West and is spread over a Total land area of 19.16 acres of land. TCEA has a wide spread portfolio of engineering programmes with course offerings of 20 spread across three levels of degrees and admitting in total 771 students. Presently, the institute has a faculty of 80 members which further guarantees optimal student faculty ratio. AICTE recognised, TCEA is now in the endeavours to set its standard as a good engineering college in the region.

To meet the students’ academic and personal needs, Techno College of Engineering boasts of modern amenities within facilities. Originally, the library is effectively equipped and contributes to the formation of knowledge in the process of education among students and faculties. To the students who intend to become engineers, TCEA offers well-equipped laboratory that expose the learners to practical aspects in the engineering fields embraced by the institution. TCEA have complete degree programmes in the field of engineering for both under graduate and post graduate students. The college offers 20 courses. These academic programmes consist of valuable branches in engineering such as Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering and so on. To gear up with these trends the college has also started new programme like B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, B.Tech in Advanced Mechatronics and Industrial Automation, etc. In post graduate level, the courses offered includes M.Tech in Advanced Communication Technology , VLSI Design. Also, TCEA provides for diploma courses in a number of branches of engineering, and gives the learner multiple starting points.

TCEA follows a very rigorous process for admission to meet students’ needs and academic abilities that are deserving. Admissions for B.Tech programmes are done on merit in qualifying higher secondary (10+2) and recognised entrance test scores like JEE Main, TJEE, WBJEE etc. The college also have a direct entry programmes for diplomas holders in which admission is conducted through TCEALET exam.
