Teerthanker Mahaveer College of Computing Sciences and Information Technology was established in 2014 as a constituent college of the Teerthanker Mahaveer University in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. TMCCSIT is an institution that offers diversified programmes in computer science and information technology among its co-educational faculty of 72 members. The institution offers 22 courses across eight degree programs with specialisations in areas like Computer Science Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, and Data Science.

TMCCSIT has outstanding facilities for enhancing the learning process. The college library is well-equipped with KOHA open-source library management software that is fully automated, thus opening up extensive searching and research facilities for scholars from voluminous academic literature. State-of-the-art computer labs consist of four language laboratories with 240 terminals offering ample opportunities for student hands-on exposure to the latest software and technology. TMCCSIT offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.The college offers 22 programmes, which include trendy courses such as BCA and B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering besides the MCA and various specialisations of M.Tech programmes. One of the flagship courses is the B.Tech CSE programme which has an intake of 120 seats. The specialisations offered by the college are quite unique, such as Cloud Technology and Information Security, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Data Science etc. These specialisations are most often in association with the industry, such as IBM, TCS ION, and I-Nurture. Industry requirements are aligned with the students to equip them for the changing needs of the IT sector. 

Admission TMCCSIT follows an extensively merit-based admission process, taken into consideration via the score obtained in national-level entrance exams like JEE Main and CUET UG for B. Tech programmes and GATE scores for M. Tech programmes. For courses such as BCA and B. Sc, the admissions are based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. The college accepts different applications throughout the whole year with every programme having a different deadline.
