Temple City Institute of Technology and Engineering, established in Khordha , Odisha in the year 2007is an affiliated college . This institution which was established with the approval from the AICTE occupies a total of 10.08 acres of land and is integrated with technical platform and modern amenities. The college has registered an overall enrolment of students 750, and 100 faculty members of TITE have helped students achieve excellence in their academic endeavors . The institute teaches 16 courses within two degree programmes with its strengths on engineering and management fields.

TITE has a vast number of amenities that are characteristic of the university needed to make the student’s stay efficient. The school provides special hostel for both genders, with a capacity of more than 1000 students with large, airy rooms and with security on 24/7 basis. Students and staff are given medical assistance through a fully equipped dispensary; with existing plans for emergency. The library of the institute possesses updated collection of textbooks, reference books and electronic books and materials. To this end, TITE provides a gym, and sectioning for various sporting activities to promote for healthy physical exercise to clients who are so inclined. The campus has wireless access to the internet and free and open 24 hours. The college has two canteens providing different cuisines, and there is a particular transportation system effectively transporting day scholars.

Currently the institute has a total of seven courses, five engineering and one MBA courses like - Travel and Tourism  etc. and  B.Tech. All programmes are delivered on a full-time basis, and the key concentration of the courses is on the engineering and management disciplines. The total intake approved for all courses is 510 which the institute has maintained in order to keep the ratio of students to teachers into reasonable limits. Though the latest and special graduation data is not available, but the total enrollment figure of the institute correlates with the intake capacity of 750 which provides the evidence of consistent academic year.

The TITE gives much emphasis to its admission process through examination as the major criterion. For B.Tech programmes, the students must pass OJEE or JEE Main for admissions in the University. These are the exams through which the interested candidates can get admitted in the institute to start becoming engineers. However, no precise dates are mentioned; still, aspiring students should note the annual OJEE and JEE Main exam schedule. Also, the bureaucracy in support of the quality education is expressed by the approval of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for its programme meant to standardise the technical education facilities. The details regarding scholarships and successful alumni may not be easily obtained; however, the major points of concentration make TITE as one of the most recognisable institutions for quality technical education at Odisha.
