About TKR College of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad
TKR College of Engineering and Technology was established in 2002. This college is considered as one of the best colleges in Hyderabad when it comes to prominent engineering institutes in the state. The institute is managed by the TKR Educational Society and is approved by AICTE and UGC. TKRCET Hyderabad has also been accredited by NAAC with an ‘A’ grade and several of its programmes are NBA accredited.
TKRCET Hyderabad offers full-time diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Undergraduate courses include BTech in Computer Science Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Data Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Information Technology. Postgraduate programmes include MTech in various specialisations such as Power Electronics and Software Engineering. The college is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. The college also provides a full-time MBA course.
The college also has a placement cell that looks after getting the undergraduates and postgraduates placed at top companies by conducting the admission process. As per NIRF 2025 data, a total number of 232 undergraduates got placed at a median salary package of Rs 4,00,000 and a total of 6 postgraduates got placed at Rs 3,00,000.
Admission to TKRCET Hyderabad is done through state-level entrance examinations such as TS EAMCET for B.Tech, TS PGECET or GATE for M.Tech, and TS ICET for MBA. If you completed your intermediate PCB Stream with math then you are eligible to given Jee Exam and then take admission on best engineering colleges with ECE branch.
But if you don't have math course then you can't eligible for best college. You can take admission in private colleges

Both colleges have excellent placement rates, but tkrct gets my preference because of her experience in computer science.
No matter where you enrol, your skill set and expertise are the most significant factors, not the college.
In contrast to tkrct or elite institutions, one of my friends from a
TKRCET Hyderabad does have average Placements for Civil Engineering Branch, with nearly 50 percent of the 2021 Batch getting Placed with an average Package anywhere around 2-3 LPA.
