UIET Kanpur Placements 2024: The college has a placement cell that is responsible for handling all matters related to the recruitment and training of students. The UIET placement cell acts as a bridge between the students and organisations. As per UIET Kanpur NIRF 2024, 183 B.Tech students were placed out of 284 students with an average salary of Rs 4.09 lakhs.
University Institute of Engineering and Technology placement cell prepares students by arranging training in aptitude tests, group discussions, interviews and many more. Career counselling is also provided by the senior corporate personnel. The B.Tech final student is to undergo 6 to 8 weeks of a summer training programme. During the training period, the students will work on projects assigned by the organisations.
UIET Kanpur Placement Process
The placement cell sends invitations to the companies.
Interested students must register with the UIET Kanpur placement cell.
Registered students submit their resumes and students are shortlisted based on their resumes.
The University Institute of Engineering and Technology Kanpur selection process for placements include written tests, group discussions and interviews.
Selected students are recruited by the companies.

Verified ReviewThe college has a decent placement with an average salary package of 3-4 lakh per annum and the maximum placement is from Computer science and engineering department. ECE department has also a record but rest branches have to improve in this area. Uiet is very supportive in every field. The placement and training department is also very supportive and ready to help.

Average. Because the Average placement is increase till Rashi Madam took the responsibility of placement cell. Average placement 5 lakh approx. Highest placement is of 14.5 lakh till 2k19. But it will rise if the rashi madam will be the incharge of placement cell.
