The Vimal Jyothi Engineering College (VJEC) was set up in 2002; the College specialises in Engineering it is situated in Chemperi, Kannur, Kerala state. Present on a 30 acre campus, VJEC provides quite a lot of engineering specialisations for its students, 1511 in number. The college has a strong cadre of teaching staff of 139 members that enhances the student-teacher ratio. VJEC is associated with the Kerala Technological University and it has got NAAC accreditation among all the institutions. The institution is also recognised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) this just proved its standard on education.

Vimal Jyothi Engineering College boasts of highly developed facilities to support its quality learning environment.
