M.Com

B.Com or B.B.A/B.B.M/B.B.S degree from University of Calicut or any other university recognised by UGC or AICTE with minimum of 45% marks or equivalent. 

(In the case of B.Com (Honours) 50% for the reserved category).

M.Sc Mathematics Self Finance

A B.Sc. in Mathematics or an equivalent degree with at least 50% or equivalent in Core and at least 50% or equivalent in Part III (Core and Complementary combined) is required (55 percent for the reserved category).

M.A Economics

Candidates must hold a B.A. in Economics/Foreign Trade/Development Economics (Main) or an equivalent degree from this university, with a Part III CGPA of at least 45 percent and an overall CGPA of at least 50%.

OR a B.Sc. in Statistics/Mathematics (Main) or a comparable discipline from this university, with a minimum of 70% in Part III (excluding subsidiaries).

M.A English

B.A. English Lang. & Litt./B.A. English & History/B.A. Functional English with at least 45% in English or B.A./B.Sc degree with at least 45 percent in Part I English/overall CGPA of 50 percent, from this university or comparable. (For the reserved category 50-55%).

M.A Malayalam

B.A. Malayalam Lang. & Litt. (Main) degree with at least 45 percent marks in Part III or B.A/B.Sc degree with Malayalam in Part II (as common course) with at least 45% marks/overall CGPA equivalent to 50% of this university or equivalent (50-55% for the reserved category).

M.A Sociology Self Finance

Candidates must have a 45% or higher in Part III of any undergraduate degree from this university or an equivalent degree (50% marks for the reserved category).

Any undergraduate degree from this university or an equivalent degree with a minimum of 50% in core and supplemental courses. (The reserved category receives 55% of the points.)

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline recognised by the University of Calicut with a minimum of 50% aggregate.

Note that only the main and subsidiary marks/grades are evaluated in fields that do not contain English.

M.Sc Botany Self Finance

A bachelor's degree in Botany or Plant Science from the University of Calicut or an equivalent qualification, with a minimum of 50% in the main (core) subject on the mark system or an equivalent grade on the grade system (45% marks or equivalent grade for the reserved category).

M.Sc Chemistry Self Finance

A B.Sc. degree from this university in Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry/Polymer Chemistry (Main) or an equivalent degree with Mathematics as one of its appendages and a minimum of 50% marks/overall grade (55% for the reserved category candidates).

M.Sc Nutrition and Dietetics Self Finance

B.Sc degree from this university in Home Science/Family & Community Science/Dietetics/Clinical Nutrition/Food Science with Quality Control/Food Science and Nutrition/Food Service Management and Dietetics or other Nutrition related subjects, or an equivalent degree, with at least 50% marks or an overall grade for Part III (excluding subsidiaries). (Reserved seats account for 55% of the total.)

M.Sc Physics

Candidates must have a minimum of 50% or equivalent in Part III of a B.Sc. degree in Physics/Applied Physics (Core) from this university or an equivalent degree, with Mathematics as a required complement (Core and Complementary put together). When combining the three mains/majors together, applicants with three mains/majors must have Physics and Mathematics as two mains/majors and a minimum of 50% or equivalent grade. (Reserved category receives 55% of the points.)

M.Sc Textile and Costume Science Self Finance

Candidates must have graduated with a minimum aggregate score of 50% in B.Sc Textile & Fashion Technology/B.Sc Textile Science & Apparel Fashion Design/ B.Sc Costume Design & Fashion / B.Sc Fashion Technology/ B.Sc Apparel & Fashion Design and Any Biological Science Graduation.

M.Sc Zoology Self Finance

Candidates must have completed a B.Sc degree from this university or an equivalent/recognised degree in zoology (Main) with (at least) 50% or equivalent grade in Core (55 percent marks for the reserved category).
