About VIIT Pune
Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology (VIIT), Pune was established in the year 2002 by Bansilal Ramnath Agarwal Charitable Trust (BRACT). The institute is approved by AICTE. VIIT Pune has been accredited by NAAC with an ‘A’ grade. VIIT Pune is a self-financed autonomous institute affiliated with the Savitribai Phule Pune University.
Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology provides four doctorate, five postgraduate, and eleven undergraduate courses. A variety of specialisation-specific B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. courses are available at VIIT Pune. For admission to undergraduate courses, candidates need to appear for MHT CET or JEE Main. A candidate must have a valid score in the GATE to be admitted to the M.Tech programme.
The admission to Ph.D courses is offered based on marks obtained by candidates in PET and candidates' performance in the personal interview. The only scholarship offered by VIIT Pune is the Keep Moving Scholarship. To avail scholarship at Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology, students must meet the eligibility criteria set by the college. According to the NIRF 2024 Report, a total of 722 undergraduate students were placed during the placement drive of 2023.
The training and placement cell manages contact with the corporates and every year sends invitations to them for the Vishwakarma Institute of Technology placements. Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology admission to undergraduate courses is based on the marks obtained by candidates in the MHT-CET / JEE Main. The library is well-stocked, though it could use more seating during peak hours. Labs are equipped with updated tech, perfect for hands-on learning, but some equipment needs faster maintenance. Wi-Fi is reliable across most areas, a big plus for research and assignments.

The college has s well developed as facilitated infrastructure the college has a tennis court with a large group with everywhere greenery covered with trees the college has a good night labrotory with all regularly used equipment and a well peaceful corridor the college has a wifi connection for learning purpose
