Vivek College of Education was started back in the year 2003. The institute is an associated college in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. The college has been given its accreditation by the NAAC and approval from the NCTE. The college is spread over 5 acres of campus area offering as varied as thirteen number of courses under nine-degree programmes. 

The strength of both male and female students combined is 1,440, matched with a total staff strength of 81. Vivek College of Education is a co-educational institution. The admission process at Vivek College of Education is program-specific. Admissions in B.Ed and M.Ed are based on the merits that are drawn up with the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination. In the courses of D.El.Ed, the admissions are done in the similar-to-B.Ed courses on the basis of the same merit-based assignments.
