The academics is overall good all the faculty is very supportive and helps and understand your concerns. They teaches everything in deep. Classes are on time teachers don't cancel classes as much as happens in other colleges.
The placement society is not that active but trys to provide placement. The senior gets an average package of 4 lpa. And aside from that your skills matter more than your cgpa. Overall in short the placement is so si
The fee is low and value for money
Societies are fun to join
The college have it's new building but it's not functional.. the old buildings are too old and becoming worst day by day... The classrooms have basics facilities.. The canteen is overall average not so good..

There were many college societies in the college the students are active in the societies.. as well as the crowd is average not so bad not so good..it's located in central delhi so it's good location overall .
The college infrastructure is very bad as the building is bow very old and the commons rooms as well needs maintenance as well renovation and the washrooms are also very dirty and the students make them dirty more
I am currently studying in bcom hons now i am in second year and in this journey i have realised the academics of the college are overall good and the teachers give their 40 percent they can give more but they dont give
Placements are overall good the placement cell work very nicely the regularly update the internships as well jobs in their group they work very actively and provides jobs and internships as well they organiza fare for jobs

Yes it is value for money college
Very good campus life we enjoy very much
Yes the college mainly has all the facilities need in a college like common rooms washrooms and the auditorium as well as labs but the building is now very old and they are not shifting to new building
Academics are not so good of the college as the teachers not properly give attention to the students they only pick two to three students and give attention to only then and treat them like their own children
Placements are very bad of this college they bring same companies to the college every year and they offer two to three lakh package same as this is the minimum wage rate of india and you are getting it only
Not value for money college

Academics is good because of the teacher they always try to provide notes as well explains everything nicely and the library is also very big and have many books so that you can study easily overall superb academics
Placements is not so good because the always welcome the cheap salary giving companies the placement cell also not to do their work so the placement please don't think about that waste of internships also
Not value for money clg
Bad because the building is very old
It has agood infrastructure but need to be improved the new building should be opened soon as it is required for the students to get some new experience for students the benches should be changed soon
The college has good academics it has the teachers who has the good achievement and teaching qualifications but the environment of the college makes it less comfortable for the studies and the other things are ok
It gives the yearly many placements but the placement do not provide that much satisfaction for the students but some of the placements are really good and many companies provide placements in this college

It's good
Core facilities like classrooms, library, labs, and a big ground exist. New college building is constructed and looks good — but only the ground floor is open for use in many departments. Some areas are well-maintained and clean
Overall academic quality and teaching are rated above average to good by many students. Faculty in Commerce, Arts, and Life Sciences are generally described as knowledgeable, supportive and approachable. Lectures and curriculum are generally structured with NEP-aligned subjects and relevant material.
Placement support is limited — not a strong placement hub compared to flagship DU colleges. Some students report low placement percentages, modest internship opportunities, and average packages around 3–6 LPA. A few isolated reports claim higher packages (10-15 LPA+) for select students/streams, but these are exceptions and not representative. Placement quality heavily depends on your course, skills, and networking rather than institutional cell strength.
Very reasonable fees typical of DU government colleges — worth it if you’re looking for quality education on a tight budget. Students often cite value coming from faculty, location and degree recognition, despite infrastructure shortcomings.
Centrally located in New Delhi, easy metro access (New Delhi station). Some societies, cultural events and sports do happen — experiences vary by involvement. Campus life also depends on your friend circle of they're good then the college life will be easy and entertaining.
Zakir Husain Delhi College is a solid choice for academics and affordable DU education, especially in Arts, Commerce, and mainstream sciences. However, it’s not the best option if your priority is campus infrastructure luxury, top-tier placements or vibrant fest culture. Best suited for: Students focusing on academics and higher studies Those comfortable with self-driven internships and placements Budget-conscious learners
Hi,
Don’t Judge college by NIRF ranking. all the colleges of Delhi university are equally good. the only things matters is the Crowd and Location. As per my knowledge Location is very good situated in the Heart of New Delhi near Civic Centre near New Delhi Railway station.
