B.Com Accountancy Hons - Batch of 2029-01-01

Academics

This university has good teaching faculty. They teach student through PPT/Smart Board, they provide assignment in accounts. The teachers are very friendly and they conducts multiple exams to test your amplitude. The accounts facilities in Adamas.

College Infra

This University has new premises they were newly constructed.The University has a seperate basketball ground a football ground and a seperate cricket ground.It has a large room for playing Badminton and Table Tennis.It has Air Conditioners and wifi in every building.It has wending machine and projector in every room.

Campus Life

Campus life is excellent due to the huge campus and you can make a lot of good friends here. The campus is huge . Adamas has the biggest campus out of all private colleges in Kolkata. Despite being huge it is well maintained.

Placements

It has best placement compared to similar colleges. In my university there no placement classes are take. So I am in First year, I am purely given focus on B.Com subjects that are there in the second semester.

Value For Money

It has excellent value for money and I would recommend to everyone. Here I don't have to buy books.

B.Sc Biotechnology Hons - Batch of 2027-01-01

Academics

Currently I'm studying BSC HONS in BIOTECHNOLOGY Quality of teaching : Faculties teach in a very different way and makes us understand in a very easy way using smart boards for drawing the diagrams They provide notes for each and every topics Apart from studies, curriculum is not that much interlinked to make me ready for jobs and all

College Infra

It is a very good college the overall infrastructure is on point, good facilities and equipments are also available. Facilities we have : • we have smart boards in the classes • We have plenty of books , novels, journals in the Library • Internet Connection is also available • Sport centres are also well and good • Pharmaceutical centres are also available when required Each and everything is well maintained

Campus Life

Our campus is very eco-friendly , ragging free campus Our campus has places for pets and other animals as well our campus has good features students can start gardening if they wish in their leisure time and many other activities can be done in the campus. The studnts , the teachers and the staffs are very supportive regarding the maintenance of the campus and it's very safe (ragging free campus, special actions are taken if any student gets ragged by anyone) and yes it can handle emergencies very beautifully and with care

Placements

From ADAMAS, there are good placement facilities. Many students got placement from our college and a student from BSC LLB got placement for a package of 1crore salary. Yes our college is very supportive and the placement process is a bit lengthy but the CDC department is very supportive

Value For Money

My course costs 72,000 per semester Yes the money is worth because each and every facilities I'm getting is worthy

B.Tech Biomedical Engineering Hons - Batch of 2026-01-01

Academics

I studied biomedical engineering and they truly lack faculties and labs for this particular subject. Rest is ok. Biomedical engineering is a budding stream and not many study materials are available outside so students heavily depend on the college. Hence they need to do better. Placement is average.

College Infra

The college has a good infrastructure. Is clean and tidy, however the SOET building is the oldest building in the University campus and lack some of the amenities like that the other buildings possess. It has more or less all the equipments except few but one thing is that....it may be a little problematic for masters students if they're into research because adamas doesn't have the subscriptions for many research sites such as ScienceDirect...etc. Hostel food taste is subjective to individuals. But overall it's average. But one problem is that hostels don't allow any kind of personal electronic equipments inside the rooms like electric kettle or hair dryers or iron.

Campus Life

Campus is big and pretty however the road near the girls hostel needs to be repaired as it's filled with potholes and monsoon makes it worse.

Placements

Placement particularly for engineering and BCA students is average. Neither too good not too bad. You need to focus on enhancing your own skills along with your academics in order to get placed. And I must say particularly in the field of CSE there is a saturation due to huge number of students and hence the placement process is highly competitive.

Value For Money

The problem lies here because they take 5000 for each supplementary paper. And if you get debarred, then you have to do re registration for the exam with 3000 and then 5000 for each paper, which is a huge deal.
