Aligarh Muslim University or AMU is a government central university, founded by Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, located in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. Aligarh Muslim University was established in 1920. AMU Aligarh accepts co-education and is approved by UGC. Aligarh Muslim University has been accredited by NAAC.
Aligarh Muslim University offers 400+ courses at the 4 levels: diploma, UG, PG, and doctoral. For CUET Exam:
Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen to be eligible for the exam.
Qualification (UG): Candidates must have passed the 12th level or its equivalent examination from any recognized board.
Percentage: Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate to be eligible for AMU.
Age Limit: The following candidate must not be more than 24 years as of 1st July of the admission year.
Other Courses:
For B. Tech Programme:
Qualification: Candidates must have a Senior Secondary School Certificate examination or its equivalent.
Marks: Candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate for qualifying exam.
Subjects: The candidate must have passed with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English subjects (PCME).
For B. Com (Hons.)
Qualification: Candidates must be passed in 12th (Intermediate) level or its equivalent examination from any recognised board.
Marks: Candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks in the qualifying exam in aggregate OR
Candidates must have Diploma in Secretarial Practice examination of this university with not less than 55% marks in aggregate.

The mode of Counselling for the AMU entrance exam 2023 will be held online mode just after the declaration of the AMU 2023 entrance test result, the exam conducting authority will commence the counseling process. The counselling of AMU will be conducted separately depending upon the ranking of the candidates. AMU counselling 2023 comprises registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, and others.
Only those candidates who cleared the cut-off marks will be eligible for the AMU 2023 counselling. Aligarh Muslim University has a very large and green campus with well-established infrastructure. It includes spacious classrooms, central and departmental libraries, laboratories, hostels, sports complexes, and medical facilities.
