Central University Jammu Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The hostel rooms are well-ventilated and well-furnished. Central University of Jammu boys hostel facilities include an uninterrupted supply of water and electricity, modern appliances, basic furniture, etc. The hostels also provide a mess facility, where all time meals are served.

The university also provides hostel facilities for girls. The hostels are equipped with all basic amenities. Hygienically prepared fresh meals are served in the hostel mess. Recreational facilities like indoor and outdoor games are also available.

CU Jammu has an on-campus medical clinic. The medical clinic provides free medical treatment to the students and faculty members with the help of medical officers.

Central University of Jammu library facilities include books, journals, periodicals, newspapers, magazines, etc. The library also has a computer lab and a 24X7 internet facility. The library uses anti-plagiarism software, URKUND. E-resources like e-books and e-journals are also available.

Indoor and outdoor games like chess, carrom, badminton, table tennis, volleyball, basketball, cricket, shot-put, football, tennis, etc are provided by the Central University of Jammu sports complex. Separate fields are maintained especially for outdoor games.

The IT Infrastructure of the university is well-maintained and provides a high-speed internet connection in the entire campus. The Central University of Jammu IT infrastructure is also making provisions for starting virtual classes in collaboration with IITs and NITs.

CU Jammu auditorium facilities include projectors, video conferencing equipment and others. The auditorium is fully air-conditioned and is used for multipurpose activities like organising events and seminars.

Central University of Jammu transport facilities include a fleet of buses. The buses ply between the campus and various locations of the city.

The gym facility is available for both boys and girls students. The gym also provides a trainer to guide the students.  

The university cafeteria is well-ventilated. The cafeteria serves hygienically prepared meals to the students and staff members at reasonable prices.

The University has dedicated labs for various disciplines of sciences and social sciences.
