GBPUAT Pantnagar Placements

The Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology Pantnagar placement and counselling cell is headed by the director who provides effective day-to-day guidance to the students for purposeful placements. GBPUAT Pantnagar placements 2024 prepares students for up-skilling their capabilities and employment opportunities by providing training and coaching classes.

Eligible students are offered job opportunities through the GBPUAT Pantnagar placements cell where the students should clear group discussions and interview sessions. According to the GBPUAT Pantnagar NIRF report of 2024, more than 300 students were placed in the year 2023. Students are placed in government organisations, academic institutions, industries, banking sectors, and other corporate sectors. Every year employers visit the GBPUAT Pantnagar placement cell to conduct recruitment drives. Some among them are HCL Foundation, Amul, ICICI Bank, and others.

Nearly 448 UG 4-year students were placed with median salary of Rs 5.75 lakhs, 44 UG 5-year students were placed by GBPUAT Pantnagar placement cell with average salary of Rs 6.00 lakhs and 192 PG students were placed with average salary of Rs 7.00 lakhs.

The University has an average track record of placing students at reputed companies the placement cell works actively and support students during the placement season drive, company from various sectors like agriculture Research Organisations and some other government sector visit the campus through the placement drive. Overall university provides and ample amount of opportunities to students in order to get there job or internship offers effectively.

My degree at max offers government jobs more as compared to that in the private sector. But jobs worth Rs 4-5 lacs are offered to the students interested in the private sector. Most of the students indulge themselves in pursuing masters.

The placements provided by the college are not so good nd satisfying. Although every year 40-50% students get placed but the salary packages offered are not upto the mark , so there are very few students who actually accept these placements.

I can see from your profile you are an engineering student must be looking for b.tech eligibility in G.B PANT UNIVERSITY,PATNAGAR.

For b.tech courses it accepts jee main score and no minimum percent is required for b.tech course but you should pass 10+2 from a recognised board.

According to previous year's cutoffs to get into GBPUAT through JEE mains, you should have a general rank of 45,000 or below if you want to get into branches like Civil Engineering or Industrial Product Engineering. If you want to get into top branches like Computer Science Engineering
