Candidates must belong to the economically weaker section with an annual family income of Rs. 2.5. Lakh or less to get benefitted from this scholarship. He or she must have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 50 percent of the marks.
Rajasthan Government: Scholarship System: Rajasthan Government offers State Government Scholarships to meritorious students from underprivileged backgrounds. Eligible students of the Indian Institute of Information Technology Surat can also avail this scholarship.

College Infrastructure
As we are currently in SVNIT campus so we get all the facilities available in SVNIT, It has Well built Library, new Classroom complex where all classes are conducted and well equipped Computer and Electronics Lab, Sports Facilities are also good Students also Participate in inter IIIT sports competition. Also the hostel Facilities are provided by the SVNIT and Mess food is good comparable to other colleges .

IIIT Surat is currently operating from the temporary premises of Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT),Surat.The students of IIIT Surat enjoy the same campus facilities as that of SVNIT and is much better than that of most IIITs.It consists of indoor badminton courts,Gymnasium,basketball and tennis courts and a huge playing field that is mostly ill-maintained.Besides this it has a huge fully air conditioned library.Hostels also do have very fast Wifi.
