IISER Bhopal Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Cutoff & Application Form

IISER Bhopal opens admissions for BS-MS and BS programmes in online mode on the official website - iiseradmission.in. Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhopal admissions are offered at the undergraduate and doctoral levels in the field of science education and research. Candidates need to fulfil the IISER eligibility criteria as prescribed by IISER before applying for IISER admissions.

For IISER UG admission,  IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) score will be considered which is an entrance test conducted by the institute. IISER Bhopal admissions to M.Sc programmes are done based on JAM score followed by an interview. For IISER Bhopal admissions to Ph.D programmes, candidates must obtain a valid rank in  UGC NET /CSIR/NBHM or any national level examination conducted by MHRD or its agencies /Institutions such as UGC/ IIT/ IISc./ IISER/ IIIT etc.

• On the next page, register using all the valid required details
• On successful registration, candidates will receive user id and password on their valid email id and mobile number
• Login again using those credentials, complete the application form by uploading the necessary documents
• Make the appropriate payment to finish the application process

Note: Candidates must provide all the details correctly and carefully. Some of the details cannot be changed once the application form is submitted.

The institute offers admission to BS and BS-MS (dual degree) programmes at the undergraduate level. Candidates will be shortlisted on basis of IAT score. No other exam score will be considered for the IISER admission at UG level.

• Meet the eligibility criteria

• Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of JAM score

• Aspirants must fulfil all the eligibility requirements for IISER Bhopal admission to doctoral Ph.D programmes. 
• Candidates must have valid UGC NET /CSIR/NBHM or any national level examination conducted by MHRD or its agencies /Institutions such as UGC/ IIT/ IISc./ IISER/ IIIT etc.
• Candidates who have studied B.Tech or BS-MS courses with more than 8.0 on a 10-point scale from IITs or IISERs are exempted from national-level examinations.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews depending on the research area a student wants to pursue.
• The final IISER Bhopal selection is based on the performance of candidates in the interviews.
• The results of selected candidates shall be updated on the official website and the same will be notified to candidates via email only.
