M.Tech Control System Engineering is full time two-year post graduate degree course. Control System has wide range of applications starting from day to day life to space exploration. In today’s information age, many businesses are placing increasing demands on real time accessibility in order to improve business planning and decision making and to access information that can demonstrate their economic and environmental performance. Rapid advancement in technologies also provides challenges as businesses need assurance that their control system investments will deliver efficient operational performance of their plants and economic returns, with minimal risk of technological obsolescence. Hence control systems not only play important roles in plant operation, but also in reducing the cost of production while maintaining and/or enhancing safety. Therefore, it is extremely important that control and instrumentation systems are managed efficiently and economically. With the increasing use of digital technologies, new methods are needed to solve problems associated with various aspects of digital control systems.
